CHARLESTON, S.C., July 1, 2026 — New Wire Marine will break ground on July 13, 2026, on a more than $2 million manufacturing expansion at its Charleston facility, located at 4695 Franchise St. The addition will expand the company’s production capacity in response to growing demand for its custom marine electrical panels and related marine solutions.

The New Wire Marine Manufacturing Expansion is expected to bring the company’s total operational footprint to approximately 26,000 square feet and is expected to be operational in early 2027. The added space will support improved production flow, future hiring, and continued growth across the company’s OEM boatbuilder, dealer, and direct-to-consumer business.

New Wire Marine leadership will gather at the company’s Charleston facility on July 13 to mark the start of construction. Invited guests and project partners are expected to join New Wire Marine leadership for the groundbreaking ceremony.

The expansion is part of New Wire Marine’s continued investment in its Charleston operations and reflects the company’s long-term growth in the marine electrical market. The added space will help the company expand manufacturing capacity, support future hiring, and better serve OEM boatbuilders, dealers, and customers nationwide.
