Over 124 real Key West dash panel designs on file, previously built for actual owners.

Many panels span multiple years and layouts, so even if you don’t see your exact boat, chances are we’ve built something very close.

And if not, we can build from scratch — we’ve designed and built 10,000+ dash and switch panels.

Our Key West design library includes 124 documented dash and switch panel projects built for Key West boat owners across 34 different models, with years ranging from 1994 to 2023. Every project represents a real, completed build created for a specific customer — not a concept, template, or stock layout.

Across these projects, the library contains 208 individual engineering drawing pages, including panel layouts, cut dimensions, and component placements. Many projects also include reference photos provided by customers, with 82 total pictures currently available. Some projects include multiple images.

Because boat manufacturers commonly reuse the same console and dash geometry across multiple production years, exact year matches aren’t always required to find a relevant starting point. Searching a range of nearby years or similar models often produces the most useful results.

All images and drawings shown in this library are the Intellectual Property of New Wire Marine, and may not be taken or reproduced. Full-resolution PDF drawings may be requested once you are working directly with a project manager, and final dimensions and fitment are always verified as part of the quoting and design process.

Why Key West Owners Trust New Wire Marine

Key West Boats has been building serious fishing and recreation boats since the 1960s — and their owners expect a helm that keeps up. Whether you’re running a classic 1720 Sportsman in the backcountry or pushing a 263 FS offshore, your dash needs to be reliable, clean, and built for the way you actually fish. We are proud to be one of the most experienced builders of aftermarket Key West switch and dash panels anywhere in the world. Our team works closely with you to ensure our panels match your specific boat’s console geometry, your switch preferences, and your electronics setup. Whether you own a well-loved 1900 Sportsman or a nearly-new 239 FS, we likely already have your panel design on file. Our aftermarket Key West dash panels deliver factory-quality fit with your custom specifications.

Whether you’re doing a DIY repair or upgrading your Key West’s helm, we carry the exact components you need—selected specifically for compatibility with Key West panels and console spaces.

We Know Key West Boats

Key West boats have used a variety of switch configurations across their model range, with many center-console and dual-console models using Carling-style rocker switches — the same standard common across the marine industry today. Our rocker switches and actuators are frequently a direct fit, but when in doubt, send us a photo and we’ll confirm compatibility before we cut anything.

Our laser-etched labeling gives you clean, readable identification in any light — day or night. And if you want a different look, we can often convert your panel to push-button switches, which many Key West owners find cleaner and more modern.

Key West has made several console geometry changes across production years — particularly between the Sportsman, Bay Reef, FS, and Bluewater series. Exact mounting dimensions and switch count can vary significantly even within the same model family, which is why our 208 engineering drawings are such a valuable starting point.

Where previous builds have flagged fitment notes or installation considerations, your project manager can review those details before we ever start production. That institutional knowledge saves time and prevents surprises.

Key West owners tend to be serious anglers and watermen — they want a helm that’s functional, durable, and doesn’t get in the way. We build panels that match that philosophy: clean layouts, proper circuit protection, and materials that hold up in saltwater environments.

Over time, panels fade, switches corrode, and original layouts stop making sense for the way your boat is rigged today. That’s where a custom dash makes a good boat fish even better — without losing what made it a Key West in the first place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use the filters above to search by model and year. Key West has used similar console layouts across multiple production years, especially within the Sportsman and FS series — so browsing nearby years often surfaces a useful match. If an exact year isn’t listed, a project from a year or two away is usually a valid starting point.

That’s normal. Our directory is extensive but not exhaustive — not every project has been uploaded yet. Many Key West dash panels share geometry across model years, and some layouts appear under slightly different model names. If you don’t see an exact match, we may still have it on file. And we can absolutely start a design from scratch — this is sometimes the better path anyway.

Every project shown in our directory is a real dash or switch panel built for a Key West owner. These are not stock templates or concept designs. Each project is supported by engineering drawings, and many include reference photos provided by customers.  Feel confident that the products shown are probably installed and operating on a Key West today.

These projects are intended as proven starting points. They may work for you exactly as shown, but most of our customers want at least some customization for the way they use their boat.  And of course, the final dimensions, cutouts, and fitment should always be verified for your specific boat before production. Your project manager will review everything with you to ensure accuracy, and has the ability to review the previous project’s template, to see if there was any issues during the install of the product.

Absolutely.  We have been building custom dash and switch panels for over 15 years in Charleston, SC.  We have built well over 10,000 one-off custom projects.  We have over 60 employees and 15,000sqft of manufacturing space   It’s safe to say that we are the largest and most experienced custom panel builder in the US… probably the world.

Request a quote using the form on this page. Reference the project number of any design you like and we’ll pull it up. A project manager will reach out within one business day, review your console with you remotely (photos or video), and walk you through options. Most projects quote and ship within a few weeks.
