Helm Pads — Cushioned Where You Stand

A foam helm pad is the upgrade that pays you back every time you run for an hour or more. Our helm pads come in small, medium, and large, each cushioned with 16mm EVA foam — enough to absorb the slam of running on plane without raising your standing height awkwardly. They peel-and-stick to the deck with no adhesive prep beyond a clean surface, and they hold up to UV, salt, and the rare washdown without lifting at the edges. If you’ve been running on bare deck or worn-out factory carpet, a helm pad is the cheapest comfort upgrade you can make.

HelmGrip Line — Helm Toppers in Five Tiers

HelmGrips are our branded line of helm toppers — finished foam pieces that go on top of the dash or helm to hold gear, quiet rattles, and give you a non-slip surface for your phone, sunglasses, and tools. Grippers — Traction Where You Need It

Foam grippers are the small fix for slippery spots — under a tackle station, on the inside of a console door, on the helm pad itself, or anywhere gear tends to slide around when the boat is on plane. They’ve also become a favorite spot on the trailer: stick one onto the I-beam where you put your foot climbing down the tongue at the launch ramp, and you get a soft, grippy foothold instead of slick wet metal. Sold in 4-packs in two sizes. Same EVA foam as our helm pads, with adhesive backing that holds in salt and sun.

Fish Rulers — Pick Your Boat’s Logo from the Dropdown

A foam fish ruler is the easiest way to measure a fish without dropping a tape, and it doubles as a deck-protector when you lay a fish down for a quick photo. We make 24″ and 32″ stock sizes in EVA foam with laser-etched markings that won’t wear off. How EVA Foam Compares to SeaDek and Other Brands

If you’re comparing marine foam products, EVA foam is the standard material — what SeaDek, GatorStep, AquaTraction, and most other brands use. The differences come down to material quality, edge finish, adhesive, and what the manufacturer can do to personalize a piece. We source premium two-tone EVA, edge-cut clean on a CNC, and laser-etch in-house — which means a Contender or Regulator or Pathfinder logo on your fish ruler or helm pad is a dropdown selection, not a custom-quote process. The HelmGrip line is our own design, the Helm Pad line is our own design, and the Fish Rulers are cut and etched to our own spec.

Installation — Peel, Stick, Run

Almost everything on this page installs the same way: clean the surface (alcohol wipe is enough), peel the backing, press the foam in place, run a roller or your palm over the surface to set the adhesive. For long pieces like a helm pad or a 32″ fish ruler, work from one end to the other and avoid trapping air bubbles. The adhesive sets in a few hours and reaches full strength in 24. The HelmGrip Charge has one extra step — cut a hole through the fiberglass for the wireless charger base, using the pre-cut hole in the foam as your template.

Custom Logos for Charters, Teams, and Dealerships

If you need a logo that isn’t in our 100+ boat-manufacturer library — a charter operation logo, a fishing team logo, a guide service brand, a dealership mark, or a tournament series — we can laser-etch your logo to spec. Send a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG) and the quantity, and we’ll quote it. There’s a small one-time setup fee for adding a new logo to our system; after that, future orders with the same logo are setup-free.
