Boat Tackle Storage & Fishing

Boat Tackle Storage That Earns Its Place on the Boat

A tackle station needs to do two things: keep your tackle dry and organized, and not get in the way when you’re fishing. Our Plano racks are built around the same 3600-series trays most serious anglers already use, so you can drop in the trays you have, add more as you build the collection, and pull a tray out to take it shore-fishing or onto a buddy’s boat. Heavy 1/2″ HDPE bodies and stainless hardware mean the rack itself stays put — no flex, no rattle, no rust streaks running down the bulkhead.

Single, Double, Triple, or Quad — Built to Match Your Setup

We make the Marine 3600 rack in four widths because consoles come in four-ish widths. The single is right for a tight bay-boat console, a leaning-post side panel, or a tackle carrier you take in and out of the truck. The double and triple fit most center-console fishing boats. The quad is for the offshore guys who can’t bring enough soft plastic. All four use the same materials and hardware — just more of it. Screw it down to a deck, a bulkhead, inside a console door, or inside a hatch, or leave it loose and use it as a portable carrier. Same rack either way.

Mount It, Drop It In, or Carry It

The Marine 3600 racks aren’t permanently engineered to one install — they’re a flat-bottomed HDPE box you can do almost anything with. Bolt it through a bulkhead with the included hardware. Mount it inside a console door so it swings out with the door for easy access. Drop it loose into a deck hatch and let it sit there. Or just carry it back and forth between the boat and the garage like a hard-sided tackle box. The tilt-out and horizontal bulkhead versions are the dedicated-mount alternatives when you want a fixed install with one-hand access on the water.

Customizable to Fit Your Console

If a stock rack is close but not right — wrong width for your console, wrong height for your leaning post, wrong configuration for the way you fish — we build custom. Send dimensions and a sketch, and our project managers will quote a custom tackle center that fits your space and your tray count. We’ve done custom tackle stations for everything from offshore center consoles to bass boats, and we can integrate accessory holders for knives, pliers, leader spools, and lures on the same build.

Built Heavy, Built Marine

The whole point of marine-grade construction is that the rack outlasts the boat. Our racks use 1/2″ HDPE for the body and 1/4″ HDPE dividers — heavier than most off-the-shelf tackle racks — with stainless hardware throughout. HDPE doesn’t rot, doesn’t delaminate, doesn’t fade in the sun, and cleans up with soap and water. Your trays stay where they belong, even when the boat is on plane.
