Browse Our Sea Hunt Dash Panel Design Library

Over 250 real Sea Hunt dash panel designs on file, previously built for actual owners.

Many panels span multiple years and layouts, so even if you don’t see your exact boat, chances are we’ve built something very close.

And if not, we can build from scratch — we’ve designed and built 10,000+ dash and switch panels.

Our Sea Hunt design library includes 173 documented dash and switch panel projects built for Sea Hunt owners across 51 different models with years ranging from 1997 to 2022. Every project represents a real, completed build created for a specific customer — not a concept, template, or stock layout.

Across these projects, the library contains 434 individual engineering drawing pages, including panel layouts, cut dimensions, and component placements. Many projects also include reference photos provided by customers, with 117 total pictures currently available. Some projects include multiple images.

Because boat manufacturers commonly reuse the same console and dash geometry across multiple production years, exact year matches aren’t always required to find a relevant starting point. Searching a range of nearby years or similar models often produces the most useful results.

All images and drawings shown in this library are the Intellectual Property of New Wire Marine, and may not be taken or reproduced. Full-resolution PDF drawings may be requested once you are working directly with a project manager, and final dimensions and fitment are always verified as part of the quoting and design process.

We Know Sea Hunt Specific Requirements

For many years, Sea Hunt has used printed Contura-style rocker switch covers with backlit switches. While functional, these printed actuators don’t illuminate well at night — the light simply doesn’t pass through the text clearly. It’s one of the most common complaints we hear from Sea Hunt owners.

The good news: this is one of the easiest and most cost-effective upgrades you can make.

By replacing the factory printed switch covers with laser-etched actuators, light passes cleanly through the etched labels, dramatically improving nighttime visibility. The difference is immediate, and the upgrade takes just a few minutes per switch using a simple removal tool.

Sea Hunt has used printed actuators for so long that this upgrade has become almost a rite of passage — and once you see the difference, it’s hard to believe it wasn’t done this way from the factory.

Both options fit Sea Hunt’s existing rocker switches.

Many older Sea Hunt models — especially in the Triton and Ultra series — use a distinctive tombstone-shaped dash panel. This style was common from the mid-2000s through the mid-2010s, and Sea Hunt produced several variations over those years.

We have many of these panels on file, but the details matter. While they look similar at a glance, the outline, corner radii, and proportions can vary subtly from boat to boat. That’s why we always verify the exact shape before building — small differences can mean the panel won’t sit correctly or won’t look right once installed.

Another common issue is the large rectangular electronics area to the right of the tombstone panel. Because the console surface isn’t perfectly square, it’s easy to oversimplify this section and cut it as a basic rectangle. Many replacement panels you’ll see do exactly that — and it shows.

We take the extra time to follow the natural lines of the console, shaping both the tombstone panel and the adjacent electronics area so the finished result looks intentional and factory-correct. The difference is subtle, but it’s exactly what separates a panel that fits from one that actually belongs on the boat.

Many Sea Hunt models — especially older Triton and Ultra boats — were originally rigged with a single MFD and a fairly basic helm layout. As owners upgrade electronics, a common goal is adding a second display, rearranging controls, and modernizing the look of the dash to match newer Sea Hunt models.

This is where a custom dash panel makes a big difference.

Rather than cutting into the existing console or modifying fiberglass, we can redesign the dash layout to properly accommodate additional electronics while maintaining clean lines and a factory-correct appearance. In many cases, we’ll transition the helm to a modern blackout-style dash, similar to what Sea Hunt delivers on newer boats today — cleaner, more integrated, and easier to live with long term.

Beyond the panel itself, these projects often uncover common behind-the-scenes challenges: unlabelled harnesses, crowded wiring runs, limited grounding points, or accessory circuits added over time without a clear plan. When you contact us, your project manager can help review these details, offering guidance on layout, switch placement, grounding strategy, and overall organization before anything is built.

Taking the time to organize wiring, label harnesses, and include proper grounding and bussing not only makes installation smoother, it improves reliability and makes future upgrades far easier — especially when adding electronics to an existing Sea Hunt helm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use the filters above to search by model and year. Because Sea Hunt often uses the same dash layout across multiple production years, it’s common to find a close match by browsing nearby years. If an exact year isn’t listed, similar projects are usually still relevant starting points.

Also try searching in the model “Unknown” section and quickly scroll through and see if you see your shape.  Sometimes the specific model could be unclear in older tickets.

That’s normal. This directory is extensive but not all-inclusive. Many Sea Hunt dash panels span multiple years, and some layouts are shared across models. If you don’t see an exact match, we may still have it on file, just not uploaded yet.  And we can definitely start a design from scratch.  This is sometimes better anyway.

Every project shown in our directory is a real dash or switch panel built for a Sea Hunt owner. These are not stock templates or concept designs. Each project is supported by engineering drawings, and many include reference photos provided by customers.  Feel confident that the products shown are probably installed and operating on a Sea Hunt today.

These projects are intended as proven starting points. They may work for you exactly as shown, but most of our customers want at least some customization for the way they use their boat.  And of coarse, the final dimensions, cutouts, and fitment should always be verified for your specific boat before production. Your project manager will review everything with you to ensure accuracy, and has the ability to review the previous project’s template, to see if there was any issues during the install of the product.

Absolutely.  We have been building custom dash and switch panels for over 15 years in Charleston, SC.  We have build well over 10,000 one-off custom projects.  We have over 60 employees and 15,000sqft of manufacturing space   It’s safe to say that we are the largest and most experienced custom panel builder in the US… probably the world.
