CIT 22mm Black Latching Illuminated Push Button Switch

Built for custom marine switch panels and other demanding 12V/24V installations, the CIT 22mm Black Latching Push Button Switch combines heavy-duty mechanical contacts with a corrosion-resistant black PVD-coated 316L stainless steel body. Its latching action is simple: press once for ON and press again for OFF.

The independent LED ring contains both blue and red emitters, so you can choose the illumination color during installation simply by reversing the polarity of the black and orange LED leads. Because the light is electrically independent from the switch contacts, it can be wired to stay on continuously or, more commonly, to illuminate only when the connected accessory is switched on.

Wiring Details

• Brown: Switch power input.

Common switched-light wiring: To make the ring illuminate only when the switch is ON, connect the LED lead used as positive for your chosen color to the red switched-output lead—typically by crimping both wires together in the output butt connector—and connect the other LED lead to negative. For an always-on ring, connect the LED positive lead to a constant positive source instead. The LED circuit is independent and does not affect the switch contacts.
