CIT 22mm Black Momentary Push Button Switch

Built for custom marine switch panels and other demanding electrical installations, the CIT 22mm Black Momentary Push Button Switch combines heavy-duty mechanical contacts with a corrosion-resistant Black PVD-coated 316L stainless steel body. Its 22mm format gives boat builders and panel owners a compact, clean-looking control that is straightforward to install.

The independent 12V LED ring contains both blue and red emitters. Choose the illumination color during installation simply by reversing polarity on the black and orange LED leads. Because the light is electrically independent from the switch contacts, it can remain on continuously or illuminate only when the switched circuit is active.

This momentary version keeps the circuit active only while the button is pressed, making it a natural choice for horns, trim tabs, engine-start circuits, relays, and other temporary control functions.

Wiring Details

• Brown: Switch power input.
• Red: Switched power output to the accessory or load.

Common switched-light wiring: Connect the LED lead used as positive for your chosen color to the red switched-output lead—typically by crimping both wires together in the output butt connector—and connect the other LED lead to negative. With this arrangement, the ring lights only while the button is being pressed. For an always-on ring, connect the LED positive lead to a constant positive source instead. The independent LED circuit does not affect the switch contacts.
