Product Description

EGIS 7612 – Twin Engine (3 Battery) Automatic Charging Relay (ACR)

Our EGIS 7612 ACR is a compact solution for twin engine boats, where you want to retain the physical battery switches.

This compact unit (less than 4″ square) contains two 80A ACR’s built into one.  This allows either engine’s start battery to charge the house battery (whichever reaches full charge first will kick on).

This would work awesome, paired with our X200 Recessed Battery Mount with one ON-OFF-COMBINE (for start batteries) and one ON-OFF (for house):

RigPro X200_Loaded

It has an industry leadingly low relay open current draw (1.3mA), and higher than normal current rating (80A per circuit continuous, 120A for 5min).

Comes with stainless hardware and is comes with industry standard DT connector (mating connector here) for start isolation/start assist and external LED driver for remote indication of ACR#2.

Start Isolation / Start Assist: DIP switch setting allows you to program for either start isolation (mandatory open relay) when starting or start assist (mandatory closed relay) when starting.  This function requires input from the cranking key switch.

Automatically turns on when engine batteries are over 13.1Vdc, and programable OFF signal can be 12.75 (default), 12.5, 12.35 or 12.20Vdc.  We recommend to leave this setting as default (12.75Vdc), but if you choose lower voltage setting, as that favors allowing the start batteries to charge more before the house.  But you can program this ACR at a lower setting to allow the start batteries to begin charging the house at lower voltages.

Under Voltage (UV) lock prevents ACR from closing if house battery is severely discharged (<9.6Vdc).  UV lock can be turned off by DIP switch setting.
