Product Description

Boat Tool & Dual Leader Holder

A complete rigging station. It’s our Dual Leader spool setup — two free-spinning leader racks — with our Angler’s pliers-and-knife tool holder built into the middle, so your leaders, pliers, knives, hooks, and lures all live on one backplane. CNC-cut from full 1/2″ HDPE boat board in Charleston, SC, it’s built for the leaning post, baitwell or bulkhead of a serious offshore or bay fisherman.

Holds a pair of pliers, two knives (one slot also fits small fishing scissors), nine hooks or lures, and two leader racks for up to four 1″-wide or eight 1/2″-wide leader spools total — all on one 15-7/8″ backplane.

Key Features

  • The Complete Rigging Station – Two leader spool racks flank our Angler’s pliers-and-knife tool holder, so everything you build leaders with is in one place.
  • Double Leader Capacity – The two racks hold up to four 1″-wide or eight 1/2″-wide leader spools total (3.375″ center hole). Every spool spins freely, so you pull leader straight off without taking it down.
  • Full Tool Holder Built In – One pair of pliers across two shelves (upper slot 2.25″ × 0.8″, lower 0.87″ × 0.4″), two knife slots (1.250″ × 0.125″, one also fits small fishing scissors), and nine hook, lure, and leader holes.
  • Full 1/2″ HDPE Boat Board – Heavy 1/2″ white HDPE (comparable to King Starboard) that won’t rot, warp, or corrode — and matches most white trim.
  • Rated for Constant Sun – UV-stabilized marine HDPE that can stay uncovered in direct sunlight for years without fading, chalking, or breaking down — no paint or cover needed.
  • Hidden Fasteners – The screw holes sit under the leaders and tools, so no hardware shows once it’s loaded and mounted.
  • Built & Stocked in Charleston, SC – CNC-cut in our own shop and kept in stock, so it usually ships the next business day.

Everything You Rig With, in One Place

Serious leader-building goes through a lot of material — different pound tests, fluoro and mono, a couple of widths. This holds it all: keep four spools of 1″ leader (or eight of 1/2″) spinning on the two racks, pull line straight off, crimp or tie with pliers pulled from the center shelf, trim with the knife, and hang the finished rig on a hook hole. It’s the same twin leader racks as our standalone Dual Leader Spool Holder, with a full tool holder added right in the middle so you’re not reaching across the boat for pliers.

How the Leader Racks Work

Spools drop onto each rack and spin freely, so you pull line without taking a spool down. Each rack fits standard leader spools with a 3.375″ center hole and about 2″ of usable spindle height — so each side takes two 1″-wide or four 1/2″-wide spools, four or eight across both. Most fluorocarbon and monofilament leader spools are made right at 1/2″ or 1″ wide, so they stack cleanly with no wasted room.

How to Mount It

We recommend screw mounting for a permanent hold — the countersunk holes take #8 flat-head (countersunk) screws (available in your choice of length and finish from our fasteners) and sit under the leaders and tools so the hardware disappears once it’s loaded.

About the Suction Cups (Optional)

Suction cup hold does vary with how clean and un-waxed the surface is. They’re useful if you really don’t want to drill a hole, want to move the holder around, or want to test out a location for a few trips before mounting it permanently. Bottom line: your mileage may vary on the suction cups. They mount by simply screwing into the back of the holder with the small screw included with each cup. Add a 6-pack using the option on this page. (On a station this wide, we’d screw it down for anything rough.)

Applications

  • Offshore center-console leaning posts and bulkheads
  • Dedicated rigging and bait-prep stations
  • Cabin bulkheads and cockpit tackle centers
  • Bay boats and flats skiffs running a lot of leader
  • Garage and dock rigging benches
