14-16 to 10-16AWG Step-up Butt Connector

Our assembly guys love this little heat shrink butt connector. It’s a step-up, with one side accepting a 14 or 16AWG (blue side), and the other side a 10 or 12AWG (yellow side).

It’s also great as a 3-way splice, where you could put two 14AWGs into the yellow side and a single 14 or 16AWG into the blue side. This is super common in bilge pump wiring when you want to splice a manual feed from the switch, and an automatic feed from a float switch into the same pump. This butt splice features a tinned plated copper barrel (with center point stop), and adhesive lined heat shrink wrap. Zoom in on the third photo to see how well the adhesive seals the opening even with two conductors on the same side.
