10-12AWG 1/4″ (0.250″) Quick Connect Terminal with Heat Shrink
A common find on boats, this 1/4″ (0.250″) size quick connect (or “disconnect”) terminal is often found on the back of rocker switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components, such as chargers and voltmeters. This female quick connect differs from our other 10-12 Quick Connect as it offers heat shrink protection for your wire.
We consider heat shrink protection CRUCIAL on boats, especially in the harsh saltwater environment. In addition to protection from the elements, heat shrink also creates a more secure attachment of the wire to the quick connect terminal.
The 10-12 AWG quick connect also comes in handy when trying to connect two smaller wires (e.g. 16AWG) to one terminal on the back of a rocker switch.
