(ON)-ON-OFF Rocker Switch, DPDT, backlit Bright Red
This is a unique switch. We special order them for our customers and is the only one we carry that is OFF in the bottom position.
So down is OFF. Center is LOAD A on, and up (momentary) is load A and Load B on.
On boats this has two primary uses:
- Engine Crank Switch – where center is “Run” mode, and up is “Start”
- Wiper/Washer – where center is running the wiper motor, and momentary up squirts the wiper fluid
This little guy has one independent light at the top, and a dependent at the bottom. So it pairs perfectly being backlit for night readability using an etched rocker switch cover (note ‘engine’ and wiper’ are available at that link).
It does come with the Terminal 2 – Terminal 5 jumper.
This is a rocker switch body only. This rocker switch body is meant to be paired a etched or printed rocker switch cover for a complete switch unit. All actuators sold on this site will fit this switch.
Like all our rocker switches this is a genuine Carling Technologies product. It is IP68 sealed dustproof and waterproof.
