Below is a small collection of customer submitted install shots and testimonials. We’ve made SO MANY panels (we’re guessing around 10,000 totally custom designs to date). We love when customers send us before/afters, and plan to continue updating this page as we get good ones. Please see also our panel projects page for more examples.

71. 2006 Edgewater 245
Template intakes are great because not only do they ensure perfect measurements for your upgrade, but they also get our marketing girl excited!
The original panel off a 2006 Edgewater 245 had definitely seen better days by the time it got to our shop.
The material was cracked, melted, and totally worn out.
The switches had no labels, and the actuators were just as worn as the panel material.
The breaker boots were starting to peel from sun exposure.
And don’t even get us started on the mess of wires… We’re just thankful this customer chose us to help him give his boat a much-needed upgrade!
For the material, the customer went with Matte Black (white core – non backlit). He also took his new text labeling to the next level with laser etched Contura V actuators – backlit with red LEDs. The rocker switches were lined with gaskets, adding that extra layer of protection from the harsh saltwater environment.
Finishing off the panel, brand new breakers (outfitted with non-peeling boots) and a non-backlit Edgewater logo. And to avoid another mess of wires, the customer went ahead and ran his outputs to a terminal block – a very simple but HUGE upgrade that we *highly* recommend.

70. 2006 Regulator FS 26
One of our favorite parts of being in the business of boating is getting to build for any coastline.
This cajun custom, now sitting pretty on Lake Pontchartrain, decked out the dash of an ’06 Regulator FS 26. The first big move in modernizing a lot of boats is getting those gorgeous units out of the cubby and onto a nice, ½” Gloss Black acrylic panel.
After doing that, the customer decided to move his switches closer to the wheel and give them a huge upgrade from the tired Contura IIIs to shiny, new resettable push buttons. He also chose to replace his gauges with an instrument unit, which ties the glossy look together perfectly. Finishing the upgrade off is the brand-new Fusion, nested under the instrument panel and over the former switch panel location.

69. 2003 Scout Dorado 210
This customer’s boat is Charleston-built from start to finish. Originally built in Summerville, SC, Scout boats is quick drive up the road from our shop; and just a quick drive down to Johns Island are our friends at Hold Fast Marine Services, who did the rebuild of this 210 Dorado.
The customer changed his material from the original (and somewhat signature) black and gray weave to gloss black, and even added 2 new panels to his console. The toggle switches were upgraded to rocker switches; made complete with backlit, laser etched Contura V actuators. Increasing his night visibility is the LED backlit Dorado logo.
And although we had no play in this part, we sure do love that upgrade to the bigger Garmin unit. I mean… marine electronics are kind of our specialty.

68. LuxMatte! 2001 Carver 350 Mariner
The sun + 21 years on the water really did a number on this 35′ Carter Yacht. This project is a great example of how easily panels can be replaced when exact measurements are given instead of a template!
The worn out flat rockers were upgraded to backlit Contura V switches, making finding the right switch a breeze during night cruises. Although not very visible, the trim tabs and their breakers (next to the wheel) were upgraded to Contura V and moved above the ignition switches; no more pushing keys out of the way while trimming.
The backlit logo adds another touch of modernity and customization. The backlit rocker switches as well as the backlit logo are all blue LED, giving 100,000 hours of illumination.
The panels are 1/4″ LuxMatte acrylic – smudge proof, glare proof, water spot proof, and UV proof.

67. LuxMatte! 2000 Hewes Light Tackle 20
The refresh of a new switch panel gives never ceases to amaze us. Our friends at Public Water Marine in Lugoff, SC made this 20’ Hewes look 20 years younger with some simple – but effective – upgrades:
- No vision to night vision: this customer took his non-backlit, blank Contura III actuators and upgraded them to blue LED-backlit Contura V actuators. No more worries about finding the right switch after sunset!
- On top of the backlit switches, the customer added courtesy lights for those late nights and early mornings on the water
Newly wired with a New Wire: Check out the difference clean wiring can make inside the boat! Blake at Public Water completely reworked the inside of this Hewes to reflect the outside. The addition of a terminal block made installation much easier for the customer’s new panel

66. LuxMatte! 2006 Scout Dorado 222
This 2006 Scout dash has been totally revamped. The customer sent his template (existing panel) in, and our production team used the original measurements to make sure his new panel will fit perfectly.
Leave your night vision goggles at home: 100,000 hours of blue LED text and switch backlighting means never guessing which switch is which after the sun goes down.

65. LuxMatte! 2001 32 Regulator
A blacked out dash was the perfect final touch for this remodel. Our friends at Hold Fast Marine Services made a 21 year old boat look brand new again! The reverse flush mounting of the 16” SIMRADs inside the ½” thick luxmatte material is a HUGE upgrade from the original instruments that were mounted inside of a glove box before.
We took the worn out Contura III switches and upgraded them to stainless steel Bluewater 22mm push button switches. Just above the push button switches is laser-etched inlaid text; no more worry of text wearing off or trying to guess the switch at night!
The breaker and battery switch panels are also on ½” Luxmatte. The breaker panel features two 22mm Bluewater push button switches to control the interior and cabin lighting, along with 30 breakers for all of the components. Circuit Protection is a MUST, so we always love seeing customers include full breaker panels in their order. The battery switch panel includes blue LED rocker switches with laser-etched Contura V actuators, 2 rear-mounted Blue Sea Systems battery switches, and a Blue Sea Systems 100A Breaker.
All the backlit text is RGB – meaning the customer can use their phone to change the color to anything they choose.

Who would have thought that this almost 20-year old boat can look as good as brand new high-end boats? 62. 2021 Grady White Canyon 306
Here’s an effortless blackout dash made out of 3/8th inch thick Glossy Black Acrylic material. What we loved about this dash is how we kept the same layout at the top but maximizing the lower space by adding another display giving this dash a more balanced look. Zero-fastener appearance achieved with stud mounts! A Grady White Boats logo etched onto the panel looks great at the bottom. Overall, this new dash completes the modern vibe of this 2021 Grady White model.

61. LuxMatte! 2018 Contender 24 Sport
Here’s an intense all-out LuxMatte upgrade! A complete 4-panel set: instrument, steering wheel, breaker and Livewell lid.
For the instrument panel, we have a reverse flush mounted 22″ Garmin display. Stainless bluewater switches, inlaid laser-etched labels and logo backlit in Blue. Down at the helm, we have another reverse flush Fusion instrument, precisely cut steering wheel and binnacle holes. Next, we have a white breaker panel looking nice and clean with black boots. The labels and logo are laser-etched and backlit as well. Lastly, a clear acrylic livewell lid with a striking Contender logo.
This project was completed and installed by one of our local Dealers – Hold Fast Marine Services.

59. ’95 Wellcraft Excel 23 Walkaround
This is (so far) the second time we built a dash in a clear acrylic material – reverse painted in smokey gray. It’s now becoming more popular option for boaters wanting a laid-back style.
Since it’s in odd shape, a template was sent to us by the customer. We traced it carefully for an accurate and precise cut!
Etched and backlit labels and logo that are super cool on the eyes. This new dash will surely gain lots of compliments out on the water.

58. 2003 Boston Whaler 270 Outrage Acrylic Dash Panel Set
Another dash panel set for a Boston Whaler yall! Super clean and polished blackout dash. We’ve built panels for this model quite a few times – no template required! Just print out the proof to scale and dry fit on the helm, make necessary adjustments to make sure it fits perfectly.
These 1/2″ thick acrylic panels have red LED backlit switches – super easy on the eyes! Circuit protection via breaker box. The signature Boston Whaler logo and no-show stud mounts installed.

57. 2004 Boston Whaler Conquest 305
Believe it or not, this panel was designed on our E-Panel Builder tool!
Matte Black ABS panel and red bocatech switches. This new switch panel looks sleek with a Boston Whaler logo in red. Since this panel is odd-shaped, the customer mailed in a template and voila, perfect fit!

This was a pretty unique sporty panel we built for Ranger! Equipped with (15) Bluewater etched push button switches and stud-mounted. Plugs and circuit protection via fuse block. The switches' caps are replaceable and customizable. Need I say more? Bluewater switches work with either 12v or 24v systems - the reason why it's becoming more popular on push-button panels. 55. 34 Jupiter Glossy Acrylic Blackout Dash
This is a 2-panel gloss acrylic set. The main panel has 2 reverse flushed Garmins, giving us that seamless fit! Equipped with sturdy "no-show" studs. You could just stare at this dash all day and appreciate the beauty of it - how it snaps perfectly into that recessed spot!
Now the switch panel has Bluewater pushbutton switches. These switches have laser etched customizable inserts, very practical whether you're working on a big or smaller panel, they just don't take too much space and they can be used in a 12v or 24v system.
And lastly, to highlight the switch panel - a backlit Jupiter logo!
54. LuxMatte! 2014 34 Regulator: Modernized Blackout Dash
Another amazing helm remodel on a 34' Regulator.
LuxMatte, stud-mounted panel with blue water etched switches. New electronics installed, looked really awesome with their new dash!
Loved the placement of the switches here with plugs on each side. The windlass switches are still on the same spot, less-crowded this time! Added a backlit Regulator logo on the other side to balance the panel.
Fun fact about these etched switches: Bluewater push-button switches can be used on both 12V and 24V systems
