While the rest of us have our sights set on summer, Albemarle Boats and Spencer Yachts are busy preparing for a huge release this fall.
Two of the largest and most reputable North Carolina boat brands have teamed up to create a sportfishing super boat; one that lacks in neither size nor performance.
Once completed, the 53 Spencer Edition will be the largest craft in the Albemarle family; a big 12 foot jump from the 41 Custom Carolina Edition. This beast will also be the first all-fiberglass boat for Spencer Yachts.
We haven’t been able to source an official debut date, but we have been eagerly been following the progress through Albemarle’s social media.

The Spencer Editions specs are seemingly endless. Here’s some highlights:
SIZE & SPEED:
- LOA: 53 ft
- Beam: 16 ft 6 in
- Fuel: 1600 gal
- Max HP: 3200 HP
The first 53’ behemoth will be powered by two MTU 10V2000 M96L’s.
