Southport has kicked off the new year in a big way by refreshing their most popular model, the 33 FE. Don’t let the Family Edition part fool you; this boat is for the Fishing Expert as well. 

On the days spent inshore with the family…here are the things you’re gonna be happy you’ve got in the redesigned 33 FE.

AT THE WHEEL:

  • the plush, bolstered chair seats in the larger helm pod
  • spaces designed for moving around: Southport knows you’re not standing still. Their engineers focused on ergonomics to make sure you don’t have to bend around to get around.

it lives up to its “Family Edition” name by creating an abundance of social space for you to enjoy time with friends and family. That doesn’t mean we forgot the serious anglers.

FORWARD COCKPIT:

Their design of the forward cockpit area keeps the whole crew happy. First, they added some plush, comfortable seating to the front-of-console area; but everyone knows the forward benches are the best seats on the brine. Southport added foldable backs to the ends of the benches for max comfort.

And the most exciting part for the lounge enthusiasts… the helm pod and front-of-console seating all have arm rests!

NO AFTERTHOUGHT:

  • With a 10’8” beam, the deck offers plenty of space for sitting, standing, fishing, (drinking), or whatever else you want to do out on the water. 
  • The larger mezzanine leaning post and standard dive door enforces Southport’s commitment to keeping the whole family in mind. 

But for those perfect days spent offshore… the refreshed 33 F(ishing)E(xpert) doesn’t fall short. Check out these highlights in the re-release:

LIVEWELL AND STORAGE GALORE:

  • the new transom cooler box sits nicely alongside the centerline 35 gallon livewell tank
  • two sets of port and starboard fish boxes 

TROLLING & CASTING:

  • additional in-gunnel rod holders
  • standard t top rocket launcher storage
  • easy-to-strip seating in the forward cockpit makes the transition from cruising to casting a breeze

SPEED AND SPECS:

  • top of the line controls and displays; and more of them – including 22” screens
  • 850 max HP
  • 330 gallon fuel tank
  • 30 gallon freshwater tank
