The Carling AV Push Button Switch is a great little switch — very affordable, and it has an impressive 10A current rating (2x that of its leading competitor!)

Available in latching ON-OFF or momentary (ON)-OFF – select which using the drop-down menu.

Most common recreational boating loads can run directly off this 10A rated switch.

It has both a normally closed and normally open contact, which allows you to use the switch to break a normally closed circuit if desired.

Plus, it features an independent blue LED ring.  This can be linked to the switch output with an external jumper to make the light come on when the switch is on.

This push button series features 0.110 quick-connect tab terminals (14-16 AWG and 18-22 AWG) for easy installation and daisy-chaining — and that means less time wiring and more time out on the water.

The Carling AV series sports a generous 10A rating even with a dry contact (non-solid state) version. This is a true innovation, allowing most loads to be switched directly without a transistor!

This is a genuine Carling Technologies push button — not some cheap knockoff like you might find other places online. 

Carling AV-Series Push buttons can accommodate panels up to 1/4″ thick — this is a shallower threaded body than some of the other push button options. If you purchase a thicker panel from New Wire Marine, we will mill it down to accept the switches.

These switches are NOT resettable – meaning you’ll need to protect them with a fuse or circuit breaker like any other switch: They do not have it built in.
