Valentino Custom Boats recently announced the release of their second, larger model at the 2023 Miami Boat Show: The Valentino 35.

This release came as no surprise at New Wire, though; We’ve been working with the guys at Valentino Custom Boats (VCB) for months to engineer the perfect panels for their 2nd hull. Let’s dive in and see what our OEM partner is putting our panels on!

A Quick Background on VCB

As a fairly new company, there may be a chance you haven’t heard of these guys yet.

VCB tells their backstory much better than we can, though… here’s their conception, in their words:

“Since our inception in 2017 Valentino Custom Boats (VCB) has strived to build an innovative approach to the Center Console boating world. In the Outer Banks, birthplace of the Carolina flare and custom building is where we start with our 28’ hybrid boat. We wanted to design a platform that can offer versatility for family and friendly pleasure. Moving us forward to integrate our knowledge into the next level with the introduction of the Valentino 35 Offshore. Our talented team have brought together decades of sportfish yacht construction and fishing capabilities. This legacy was born out of the respect and craftsmanship working alongside our legends of the Carolina sport fishing industry. Constructing a superior vacuum infused system of molds to assemble the strongest platform for a lifetime of pleasure through any seas.”

Now that you know their a bit of their background, let’s get back to the boat.

The Valentino 35

With “bigger boat, bigger catch” in mind, this flagship release is built for top-of-the-line offshore performance. And it certainly isn’t lacking in style, either…

The 35 is still in the works, but let’s talk about what we know so far:

The Specs:

  • LOA: 35 ft
  • Beam: 11 ft 5 in
  • Draft: 20”
  • Weight: 9300 lbs
  • Fuel Capacity: 340 gal
  • Max HP: up to 1200 hp
  • Fresh Water: 40 gals
  • Livewell: 25/50 gals (1100gph)

The Build:

The “C” in VCB really holds its meaning when it comes to the options available in the Valentino 35. After choosing between twin or triple power configurations, you get to decide whether it’s fishing performance or family functionality you’re looking for:

If you’re building your 35 with bigger catches in mind, you may consider adding a tower; and even if you’re on the fence about the tower, every Valentino offers a customizable platform that allows you to personalize your machine to fit exactly what you need.

The fishing performance isn’t just in towers and platforms, either. Valentino uses a vacuum-infusion construction process – improving the fiber-to-resin ratio – which ultimately results in a stronger, lighter hull.  That means you can go further, faster, and with less fuel burn than other center consoles in its class.

What the 35 offers in performance doesn’t leave you lacking for family, either. The 11.5′ beam allows for ample movement around the console – but when it’s time to kick back and relax, Valentino’s beautiful, luxury upholstery provides the perfect landing spot for your crew. Check it out:
