Meet our PW104 Power Box. Designed to be a drop in Single Engine Battery Management System for your boat, simplifying and consolidating your main load center, and adding automatic charging capability.

The PW104 is a compact, all-in-one solution designed for single engine boats with a single starting battery and a single house battery. It includes an ACR, providing automatic charging and start battery isolation, and a house main breaker; all housed behind a sealed Frosted Edge Clear Door for protection against water.

The PW104 PowerBox’s compact design allows versatile installation in aft battery compartments, through the console wall, or inside an interior bulkhead.  It’s extremely compact with only about 4″ required depth.  For an opaque door, check out the PW105.

Automatic Charging & Battery Isolation for Single Engines:

The PW104 features automatic house battery charging via a Blue Sea Systems (Automatic Charging Relay).  This innovative product uses voltage sensing technology to know when the engine is running and directs the start battery to combine with the house battery for charging once the start battery is full. No need to manually combine batteries while underway, or manually isolate them while at the sand bar.

The ACR can also be used at the dock, allowing you to use a single bank shore power charger applied only to the start battery to maintain the house battery (no 2-bank charger required).

Emergency Parallel:

With the onboard ACR and the 6011 dual circuit battery switch you will have extra peace of mind as the system provides the option to combine batteries for additional cranking power in case of emergencies.

Turn the switch to COMBINE to quickly and easily parallel both batteries for extra cranking power.

Easy Installation for Single Engine Boats:

We’ve designed the PW104 with style, function and ease of installation in mind.  All internal components come pre-wired. This system is ideal for boats looking to improve weight distribution by moving batteries from the transom to the console or for setups where battery switches are hard to reach.

Template provided for hole cutout.  Mounting screws (4 required, not included) are countersunk.  Choose wood/self-tapping or machine screws as appropriate for the material and thickness being mounted too.  Recommend sealing caulk around perimeter.

The only electrical connections are:

1. Start Battery Positive Cable
2. Start Engine Positive Cable
3. House Positive Battery Cable
4. House load positive conductor
5. Negative

NOTE: The negative terminal on the ACR is an industry standard 0.250″ Quick Connect (often called “spades”)
