RigPro X212

Meet the RigPro x212: It is our double battery switch version of our X111 and a similar design but different use case than our X211.

The X212 designed for two use cases (although it can be used for others):

Case 1, paired with a X200 (white) or X201 (black) with two 6006 ON-OFF battery switches:

• Not engine related
• Two hi-amp loads, each with it’s own isolated switch.

An example of case 1 may be two separate electric reels receptacles where you want to be able to turn either of them on or off independently.  (See example diagram in product photos).

Case 2, paired with a X200 (white) or X201 (black) with one 6011 and one 6006 battery switch:

• Single Engine
• 1 Start Battery
• 1 House Battery (or bank) with 1 main breaker
• 1 additional switched Hi-Amp load
• External ACR (optional, but recommended)

An example of case 2 might be a fairly typical single engine setup, but you also have a separate hi-amp load (say a windlass, or stereo amp, or electric reel) that you want to switch separately from the house bank.  Note in case 2, you’d either want to have an ACR or manage your house battery underway charging with the “Combine Batteries” setting on the battery switch.

This rigging board comes with a two circuit breakers, available in ratings from 50A to 120A. We’ve also included 6AWG pre-built wire leads long enough to connect each breaker to it’s closest battery switch.

The X212 seamlessly mates with our X200 (white) or X201 (black) external mounts (sold separately, required for mounting).

It’s easy to install using the same mounting screws that hold the external X200 series recessed battery switch (no additional fasteners visible)

This products comes with a battery link bus commonly needed to parallel house systems or emergency parallels for different combinations of switches.

One of the best things about the X212 (and our entire RigPro series) is its shared mounting system. Forget about ugly finishing washers or awkward glassed in mounting pads – our interior units hang inside using the same screws as the exterior battery switch mounts. Talk about keeping things clean and easy.

The X212, like all our RigPro interior mounts, comes finished with a smooth roundover and an OEM quality finish that’ll make your boat’s interior look like it rolled straight out of the showroom.
